This is a belated birthday gift for ~kyo-kyo123
Happy late b-day hnngg! TT u TT
I got inspired with this composition when I watched Madagascar 3. It was during my flight to the Philippines, and wow, the asiana airlines was great. They had this touch screen on the back of every seat, and you could either watch movies and play music. I watched Brave, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Madagascar 3, Frankenweenie, Paranorman, and this strange horror/comedy korean movie. Plus, they served delicious korean food that I still crave for TT n TT
But yeah! >XD While watching Madagascar, there was this one scene where they accidentally made the 'Circus Americano' come true, and I was just in awe of every thing in that movie. Great graphics, and very inspiring! xD
As for the picture itself, I suffered so much on this, but at the same time, I had such a great time Q u Q
"Why so many layers?" Ok, well I kinda figured out how to do a 3D effect, and that is through creating many types of shades. I used 9 different shades on each section (section of blue balloons, red balloons, etc). 1 base color, 2 shadows, 1 highlight color, 1 overlay layer, 1 addition/luminosity layer, 2 reflected light shades, and 1 reflected highlight.
and it was such a pain, but I think it really gave more depth in the image. I even stayed up so late every night just to get this done. I really pushed myself so hard on effort that I wanted to cry LOL
But yes. I can't wait to see ~kyo-kyo123's gift for me! xD Can't wait to see your best work
